Renowned for the rich diversity of its wildlife habitats, the Réserve faunique de Rimouski invites visitors to take part in a rewarding adventure. Set out in search of black bears, moose, beavers and white-tailed deer in areas that have been specifically set up for this purpose. Bird lovers might even catch a glimpse of a bald eagle, osprey or other bird of prey. Over 150 species of birds have been observed in the wildlife reserve! During your visit, you can also rent a vessel and paddle on one of the reserve’s many lakes or simply enjoy a walk in the forest.

Some bodies of water are reserved for speckled trout fishing. Many of the lakes are suitable for wading or boat fishing, with reservations by the day or longer. Hunters will be pleased with the abundance of white-tailed deer and moose. However, keep in mind that hunting licences are issued by drawing lots (except for small-game hunting).

At the Réserve faunique de Rimouski, a day of fishing, hunting or vacationing in a cabin or campground inevitably becomes a surprise-filled adventure at the heart of nature!
