Pauline-Gervaise Grégoire and Martin Fiset
Inspired by the wind, local scenery and design in general, Pauline-Gervaise Grégoire and Martin Fiset have found a way to balance work and play: using sand from the Îles de la Madeleine and other materials, they create sand sculptures that capture the atmosphere of the Islands. Originally from the Îles de la Madeleine, Pauline-Gervaise Grégoire left the archipelago to complete a bachelor’s degree in communications and a certificate in tourism management before returning to run the family business started by her parents in the early 1980s. Today, she is the executive director and her eyes light up when she talks about new projects for the boutique. She loves challenges and always being on the go! Martin Fiset is trained as a graphic and industrial designer. The wind brought him to the Islands where he settled several years ago. He is the artistic director of Atelier Côtier as well as a painter. He is therefore responsible for the company’s image and for dreaming up new ideas.
