Fjord en Kayak offers you a paddling adventure in the heart of a wilderness area: the Saguenay Fjord and the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park. Located in L’Anse-Saint-Jean, which has been recognized by the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Québec, the company offers excursions for all kayaking levels, from beginner to expert. Two-hour adventures are available for families with children aged 3-13; adults can enjoy a 3-hour or 1-day excursion. In addition, 2- to 5-day expeditions (kayak camping) are available. During longer excursions, you will have the opportunity to observe belugas and other species of whales.
Guides will introduce you to the beauty of the Saguenay by telling you about this area’s natural environment and history. They also share local legends during family excursions. Keep your eyes peeled and you may even spot the Saguenay Fjord’s sea monster!
In 2002 and 2010, Fjord en Kayak won Québec’s most prestigious tourism award: a gold Québec Tourism Award. In 2012, Aventure Écotourisme Québec awarded us their “Business of the Year Award.” We were also selected for the Canadian Signature Experiences collection by the Canadian Tourism Commission (now Destination Canada) that same year.
Our shop, which is located on the shore of the fjord, gives you access to various marine activities: sea kayaking excursions, cruises on the fjord or on the St. Lawrence River, and sailing expeditions. On sunny days, you can also rent lake kayaks or bikes on site.

How to get there
From Québec City, head east on Route 138 to Saint-Siméon and then take Route 170 towards Chicoutimi. At Km 68, enter the village of L’Anse-Saint-Jean and head towards the marina.
You can also take Route 175 North from Québec City to Chicoutimi and then head east on Route 170 to Km 68, where you will enter the village of L’Anse-Saint-Jean and head towards the marina
