Whether in the Estuary or Gulf of St. Lawrence or in Gaspé Bay or Chaleur Bay, kayakers can appreciate the magnificent scenery of Gaspésie by paddling along the coast, alongside cliffs and around impressive Percé Rock. Whales, seals and seabirds are all part of the experience!

Sea kayakers will enjoy exploring the region’s majestic fjord, mysteriously shaped monoliths and many islands and islets as well as observing numerous marine mammals. Guided excursions lasting several hours and kayak camping trips are available.

In the Islands, kayaking is a perfect way to explore otherwise inaccessible areas alongside cliffs, in caves and in lagoons. Kayaking with an experienced guide is recommended, given the strong winds in this region.
