Enjoy your vacation in the Îles de la Madeleine to the fullest at La Salicorne, a small resort nestled in an enchanting setting. With our unique packages, activities, visits and excursions, you can discover all the beauty and authenticity of the Islands at your own pace.

La Salicorne offers a program of nature hikes to help you discover our natural environment. Bicycles and water equipment are also available for rent, including canoes, pedal boats, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and rabaska canoes.

Our two boutiques (one of which is located in the fishing harbour) feature exclusive clothing, sealskin products and artists’ creations.

Activities available

Hiking
Nature walks are offered on a 7-day schedule. They are included in our packages or may be purchased separately. Our walks feature magnificent scenery and are led by an interpreter guide.
Sea Kayaking
Enjoy a magical kayaking excursion! Paddle alongside beaches and cliffs to see the Islands from the water. When the winds are strong, you can also try surf kayaking. $62/person or $40/person if you stay at the resort for 2 or more nights (taxes not included). 14+ only.
Sea Excursions
Explore caves, a unique opportunity in North America. You will be provided with a wetsuit, mask and life jacket. $79/person or $40/person if you stay at the resort for 2 or more nights (taxes not included). 14+ only.
Interpretation Sites
The Pointe de l'Est National Wildlife Area features two hiking trails with interpretation of local flora and fauna. La Salicorne offers hikes on these trails led by an interpreter guide.
