Located right next door to the iconic church in Sainte-Luce, in Bas-Saint-Laurent, Bistro des Ancrés brings new life to the old beadle’s house with a heated sunroom and outdoor patio with direct access to the beach. Our decor is so warm and beautiful that it was used for scenes in the Québec film One Summer.
Our bistro-style menu features local ingredients and products. We are famous for our fish and chips made on site with cod, crispy fries, and shrimp or lobster guédilles (rolls) as well as our extensive selection of microbrews. One day, the owner had fun mixing some of the beers, so we now also have two delicious blends on the menu!
The bistro offers a relaxed atmosphere, with musical instruments available to music lovers (piano, guitar, ukulele, mandolin). We pay particular attention to the ambient music we play, from popular French songs from France to a more local repertoire, while adapting to the tastes of our clientele. Come and discover a friendly place that is sure to be part of your precious travel memories and will certainly inspire you to want to visit again!
