Built in 1917, this spacious house in a typical Îles de la Madeleine style was completely renovated in 2021 and can accommodate up to 10 guests. Facing west, it allows occupants to take full advantage of the sunsets and offers remarkable views of the sea and the archipelago’s enchanting landscapes.
Despite not having a pitched roof or the characteristic shape usually associated with heritage homes on the Islands, Blanche de l’Ouest has witnessed the history of Étang-des-Caps for over a century! Meticulously restored to breathe new life into the building and incorporate all the modern comforts, the house’s original details have been carefully preserved to showcase its historic heritage.
Living spaces
On the ground floor, you will find an entrance hall with a washer/dryer and a bathroom with a shower, which is ideal for cooling off after a day at the beach. This floor also includes a living room, a separate TV room, as well as the dining room and kitchen. In addition to the standard equipment, the kitchen includes the following:
