With several recognized archeological sites, Côte-Nord is one of the most studied regions in Québec. Archeologists and ethnologists have been coming to the area for almost 100 years to conduct their research. Archeological digs are gradually revealing images and scenarios of coastal inhabitation dating back close to 9000 years.
