The La Fée Gourmande B&B offers four units in a typical Québec home with curved eaves built in 1850, which will charm you with its distinctive Kamouraska architectural style.
Located just outside the village, the B&B offers a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere in which to soak up the beauty of the St. Lawrence and the afternoon sun. There are wide verandas on the front and back of the building. The back veranda gives you access to the chocolate shop, where you can buy homemade fine chocolates, caramels, spreads, jams, nougats, gelato and sorbet, while the front veranda provides a wonderful view of the St. Lawrence River and typical Kamouraska homes.
In the B&B, you can opt to stay in the “La Fée Gourmande” suite, which includes a steam shower (hammam); the Master Chocolatier’s Room; or one of two rooms on the second floor with a view of the St. Lawrence. All rooms offer accent lighting, simple and cosy furnishings and a modern private bathroom, combining old-fashioned hospitality with modern amenities. A large solarium on the south side of the building is open to guests as a lounge, where you can bask in the day’s first rays of light.
La Fée Gourmande also offers a “B&B and Chocolate” package, which includes a fruit and chocolate breakfast featuring local products and several chocolate treats under your pillow.
