The Marine Environment Discovery Centre is a site you will not want to miss along the Whale Route! Discover the underwater world of the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park from starfish to the largest marine mammals.
Whale watching

How to get there
Take Route 138 East to Les Escoumins and follow the signs for the Marine Environment Discovery Centre (Centre de découverte du milieu marin).
The discovery centre is about 35 km (20 mi.) east of Tadoussac (a 30-minute drive), 150 km (95 mi.) south of Saguenay (a 2-hour drive), 165 km (100 mi.) west of Baie-Comeau (a 2-hour drive) and 250 km (155 mi.) east of Québec City (a 3-hour drive).
