This sector of the region of Gaspésie includes the communities of Port-Daniel–Gascons, Chandler, Grande-Rivière, Sainte-Thérèse-de-Gaspé and Percé. The most famous is undoubtedly Percé, which is sure to charm you. You will first be awed by the sight of Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island, just off the coast. You will then be swept up in the bustle of activities in the village, where boutiques, studios, restaurants and cafés beckon with their colourful facades and friendly staff. The Percé area is also a great place to enjoy outdoor activities of all kinds. Be sure to visit the Percé UNESCO Global Geopark as well as Bonaventure Island, which is home to the world’s most accessible northern gannet colony! You will also be delighted by the other municipalities in this sector, which offer you opportunities to sample local flavours, go for a stroll along the beach and discover local history by visiting interpretation centres.
