The Monique and Gisèle Benoit Art Centre offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn about northern wildlife and plants while admiring the largest wildlife art exhibition in Eastern Canada. The centre’s mission is to touch, amaze and educate the public through the considerable body of work produced by Monique, Gisèle and Raynald Benoit, a family of naturalists well known in the fields of wildlife art and documentary filmmaking.
Covering an area of about 410 m2 (4400 sq. ft.), the centre includes several exhibition spaces, a screening room to watch unique documentaries and a boutique.
The centre exhibits oil paintings on canvas by renowned painters Monique Blaquière-Benoit and Gisèle Benoit. In addition, high-quality reproductions and other related products are available in the boutique. Guided tours in French are available upon request for groups of up to 40 people.
