4 Photos to Make You Dream About Fall in Québec by the Sea!
Fall is a particularly photogenic season in Québec by the Sea since the light at this time of year makes our landscapes of red, orange and yellow even more striking. See for yourself with these four photos we found on Instagram!
Bas-Saint-Laurent
Composed of forests, lakes and rivers, the Bas-Saint-Laurent interior is stunning at this time of year when the leaves are changing colour and the region is bathed in the magical light of this season. This photo of Lake Témiscouata, the largest lake in the region, provides a great example of what awaits you here!
Gaspésie
Featuring sea and mountain scenery, Gaspésie is a land of contrasting sights and colours, as you can see in this photo taken at Mont-Saint-Pierre in the La Haute-Gaspésie sector. Running along the St. Lawrence Estuary, Route 132 will lead you to some of the peninsula’s most spectacular panoramic views!
Côte-Nord
In addition to landscapes, wildlife is another excellent subject for your photos during this colourful time of year. In Côte-Nord, fall is also a great season for whale watching, especially in the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park, as you can see from this photo!
Îles de la Madeleine
It’s impossible not to fall under the spell of the beautiful Îles de la Madeleine archipelago! Featuring cliffs, hills and beaches, this archipelago in the middle of the Gulf of St. Lawrence will wow you at every turn. And what could be better than a fall hike to take full advantage of the Islands’ tranquility at this time of year?
